Sword violence is on the rise. The government must seize control of the situation and stop the flood of swords onto the streets before the epidemic reaches epic proportions. Anyone can buy these things, and without even a "waiting period". Swords are designed with just one purpose, to chop people up. Do you really think these evil devices belong in the hands of anyone who can pony up the cash to buy one? Did the so-called criminal get any representation? A trial? No, he was brutally hacked to pieces with this fiendish piece of gear. We can't even trust LAW ENFORCEMENT to carry these evil things, and we all know police are almost infallible in their judgement. They must be banned, or at least heavily regulated.

I have actually wondered - in the extraordinarily unlikely scenario of a similar situation, would I get into trouble for cleaning the sword before the police arrived? After all, the blood would completely RUIN the blade if the police seized it as evidence, and it sat for days/weeks/months with someone cleaning the blood off.
