As some of you may know, the state of Illinois is dead ass broke.  In an attempt to rectify this situation our wonderful (cough) govenor Ryan decided he would privatize the dietary departments in all state correctional facilities.  Well, wednesday, the assembly voted unanimously not to go ahead with the plan.  Thursday morning Ryan was on PRN news asking the head of AFCME to "reopen contract negotiations".  We just got our new four year contract in about september (should have been done in July).  I feel a screwin coming.
