YMMV = Your Mileage May Vary. Usually used when describing a repair job or somesuch, a disclaimer for any changes made between models. Often seen on vehicle-related message boards.
In that same vein - IIRC = If I Recall Correctly. Used when describing something done long enough ago to become hazy in the mind... FFZ TANSTAAFL |

Geez, I'm glad I broke down and asked--I would [b]never[/b] have figured that one out. Considering the context when it was used it does fit. He was saying, in effect, what happened in his particular situation would not necessarily be true in mine. Clever. Now I can die in peace. Thanks, stuff like that really bugs me. [:D]
