FINALLY! I've been a member here forever, but I never could find the exact AR15 I've wanted. I finally got this 20"bbl Bushy from AIM today, and it's a sweet looking rifle.

Your manual will cover it.

Just attach it to the metal loop at the buttstock and the other end at the swivel loop on the front sight.

See page 23 at http://www.mcdl.org/Manuals/Manuals/AR-15%20Operations/TM9-1005-319-10.pdf

If you don't have the manual, http://www.mcdl.org/Manuals/Manuals/AR-15%20Operations/manual_bushmaster.pdf

Well, it's a hell of a lot easier if you can watch someone do it, but I'll try my best to put it into print.

Take the end of the sling and slide it through the sling loop on the rifle.  Grasp the buckle on the sling and push some of the sling webbing up, leaving space between the webbing and the small bar in the center of the buckle.  Take the end of the sling that you slid through the loop on the rifle and push it between the cross bar on the buckle and the webbing that is passing through the buckle.  Push the end up some and bring it back down through the other side.  Now pull all the slack out of the sling, it should be attached.  Repeat on the other end.

Let me know if you need more/better instructions.

Nice gun.
To get the sling on:
Run the sling through one of the attachment points, making sure the side of the metal piece with the two bars is facing away from the rifle. Then, loop the end of the sling around the attachment point, and run it between the two bars on the buckle and the rest of the sling.  Its like a belt buckle, but you are buckling the belt to itself.
