Two armed intruders broke into the home of a Modesto, CA couple (approx 50 yr old). When the intruders tried to take the mans wife down the hall he grabbed a shotgun and shot and killed one of the intruders. The second one escaped. Condition unknown. The couple is still being questioned and when asked the police said [i]we do not [b]expect[/b] the husband to be charged[/i].

They showed the wife on the news and her face was beat pretty good. Said she would have shot the perps herself if she could have and that she would not cave in to home invaders. Good for her.

Good thing SWAT didn't show up and shoot one of them in the back. Oh, maybe thats just kids. [;)]

Of course, the Modesto Bee account works in a bit about evil assault rifles -- AK-47.  I suppose if all guns were outlawed the intruders would never have broken in.  [rolleyes]

Too bad though...he only got one of the bastards...and yes, the liberal media will run away from this story...unless the DA indicts the homeowner.  THEN you'll hear about it all the way from Glouster to Cucamonga!
