Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Civilian sale of Remington PSS

In a discussion some one mentioned that Remington does not sell their PSS models to civilians, and Remington does not have PSS's on their web site.  Somehow my local dealers never have problem getting/selling these.

Is this just something Remington says to keep the general public happy?

Yes, as part of the general public I'm happy with my 700(P) aka PSS.  I just need a grand for the damm Leupold, ARMS rings and MWG base.

Then I can actually go out and shoot the damm thing!
