$5.00 a piece for 6 NIW 30 rnd mags? Who was the dope who sold those for that price? Great buy for you, that's for damn sure.

They're at least worth $20.00 a piece, possibly more.

$12-15 each at the guns show.
Most mags are NOT selling for $20 so you can sell yours at a lower price

Guess I should mag shop in Texas. Around here the shops want AT LEAST $20.00 for a NIW 30 rnd mag. $15.00 for Thermolds.

i got em from fellow reservists, as well as about 45 others (15%well used-99%unfired) over the last few years. thats what i pay for em, and i get a few more every few months.

i figured the MIW mags would be worth about 15-20 $ at this point. guess i am about right huh,,

Fair value is $20-25 for 'NIW' USGI 30's.

It think that their worth is what the_survivalist is looking for, considering the thread is entitled "How much do you think these are worth"

If you're getting NIW 30 rnd mags for 12-15 bucks each, you've been getting a considerably better than average price.

Hell, he could also liquidate them for $.01 each.  What does that tell you?  Absolutely nothing.

If they are NIW USGI mags, they're easily worth $20 each anywhere I've ever been.  He could put them in the EE for $20 each, and they would sell very quickly...

Just my 2¢,
SAB

well georgia precision doesn't seem to be haveing any trouble selling 30%-90% colt 20 rounders for 22.00 each. i have 4 within the same ranges, i guess i could let em go for $20 ea. all genuine heartford horseys..
i also have 3 adventure line and 1 universal ind. i guess 15 ea will take em.

or will consider trade for other cool stuff..

i do need a bunch of stripper clips...

thats ok, were on the same wavelenth, and have the same desires. we both prefer 30 rounders.

the 20's will just collect dust for a while longer thats all. when i get a bunch more ill offer them up in the for sale forum.

Whoa! 20's are very useful, and I'm guessing that raf isn't saying he doesn't want ANY, just that he has enough.  I would guess there are quite a few in your possession too, raf.  Am I right?

20 round mags are very useful for shooting prone or on the bench.  I also think the high-power shooters like them better too.  I like 'em, and many others do as well.  Bigger isn't always better.

At one point, 20's were more expensive than 30's, especially the older ones with alloy followers.  Since there seem to be fewer of them than 30's these days, I'd predict they'll sell faster, and for more than 30's soon.  I'd take them if I could, but I can't since I'd now be considered a felon or somesuchnonesense.

Have fun!

guess yore right, i just don't have a particular likeing for them. i just prefer 3 mags to hold 90 rounds than four for 80. greater battlefiled expediency.

Picture this:

You're fighting the hordes of JBT/Blue-helmeted/NWO fascists as they swarm over the border from socialist Canada, on their way to the heartland of America and all that is good and right.

You're proned out, lying behind a curb as the firefight rages, and a hail of lead screams by inches above your head.  Now, would you rather have ten extra rounds, or the top inch and a half of your head?

1) the curbs arent that high around these parts. they wouldn't provide cover anyway.

2) if youve ever fired an m-16 with a gas mask on, you will be able to fire the weapon slightly canted, this gives the weapon a lower profile.  [;D]
