Wow, I've never seen so much Latin used in folks' sig lines as now.

So I've decided to use a little Latin in my new sig line.

Whaddya think?

When I worked in Harlem on an Ambulance this is the saying on the back of our Jackets "NE CONJUGE NOBISCUM" I didn't know what it said until a Priest told me while waiting for a Train. To my suprise he said it fits for where you work. That was in the 80's and it was wild there.

Here are a few contemporary Latin phrases to consider.

"IGNIS EXTOLLO"

It's the closest thing I could find for "FIRE UP"

When catapults are proscribed, only the proscribed will have catapults.

I think I first saw that on the rear bumper of Charlton Hestons chariot in "Ben Hur"!

"Veni, veni, fugi," Joe, in high school latin class.

Over 40 years ago, I and some other members of my class seriously attempted to kill our latin master, twice!

The guy was a sadistic pig whose car's brake lines I tried to cut. However, I did not know enough about cars (I was 11 at the time) and I wound-up merely disabling his hydraulic clutch!

The entire class (of 28) got together at one point to the poison the SOB – alas, that backfired and one kid ended up really sick!

It was a case of the messenger – not the message.
