My wife gave birth to a 10lb 3oz baby girl on thursday

. Her name is Ruby Justine.

I am not big on posting personal issues or anything, but I am just so happy and proud. I got out of the Corps in Nov of 08 and my life has been a roller coaster. I only came back to Milwaukee because I had 5 nieces and nephews waiting for their Uncle to come home. We knew we both wanted to settle in Jefferson GA eventually, so we ended up renting instead of buying because we didnt want to get trapped here not being able to sell. But by the grace of God, we are being let out of our lease and will be in Georgia by the 1st of August.

I would be lying if I said I wasnt scared to death, but there is also a calming spirit in my life. I am a firm believer in feeling that things will fall into place for those that work hard to make things happen. I now have a reason to work harder than ever. I know that God will take me the rest of the way...he always has.

That is all. I am not asking for advice, I just wanted everyone to share in my overwhelming joy.

. My little girl was only 6lbs 2 oz. She's almost 7 weeks and I still don't think she's 10 lbs yet!

Be aware that Crickett puts the manufacturing date on the receivers of their rifles (and it's marked on the boxes as well).

Look/call around down the road and you might get lucky enough to find one made on the day she was born. I did, times 2 –– got one each for my twin girls made on the very day they were born.
