I'm hoping to lighten the mood a bit. Maybe it's just my mood I'm trying to lighten, I don't know. But for some reason this tune popped into my head earlier and I figured it would make for an entertaining thread.
I way dig this song >>click<<. I know (now) it's about his coming out of the closet but I don't care... It's well written, well sung, well recorded, catchy as all get out and it just plain takes me back to some good times in the very early 90s. So what songs do you enjoy that are out of character for you? edit: And the video is chock-full of smokin' hot supermodels in their primes. |

Not so much out of character, but most people who listen to other music that I like (metal) typically wouldn't listen to Enya, Celtic Woman, or Nik Bartsch. Weird for a guy to listen to? Kittie, Birthday Massacre, Jack Off Jill, and Scarling. Varied musical taste = strange band combinations.

Whats wrong with Kittie??? :) Haha No but really my music collection is ridiculous, you could randomly hear Johnny Cash, Hayseed, Dimmu Borgir, random techno trance, Kenny Chesney, DMX, Metallica, Darkthrone, Polyphonic Spree, Demon Hunter, Levon Helm, Airborne Toxic Event, Postal Service, random bluegrass songs, Mudvayne, Sevendust, Children 18:3, Abandon, and the list goes on.... :) I can hang with almost anyone music wise... so long as it is produced well.... i hate bubble gum pop though.... |

Metalhead, here.
I just absolutely love just about anything from Depeche Mode. Especially, "Personal Jesus", "Martyr For Love", "Precious", "Lillian" and "Freelove". |
