Need some help from the Texas members and those gifted in the art of Photoshop.  The task is to spec. out and design  the ultimate technical.
1.) What platform vehicle?
2.) What weapons?
3.) Accessory items?
4.) Luxury items?

I think I would start out with my '77 GMC 1-ton flat bed dually and build a goose ball fixed mount for a heavy machine gun.  Of course I would have sand bags piled up around the MG.

What else???

To keep people from always starting from the unobtainable, say a Bradley.  Why not give bonus points for using a platform and weapons that a regular person could get even if that meant class III stuff.  How about a $50000 or $100000 budget?

I'd say a Mad Cat from MechWarrior 3 & 4. Throw the biggest engine I can in it, along with MASC, a bunch of heat sinks and 2 ER-PPC's. [:D]...You didn't say it had to be realistic!

Well. in that case, I'll have pink shag upholstery and a chain steering wheel for my pimp technical.

Luxury item:  Keg of Shiner Bock, with the sandbags piled up around it.

Ever the voice of constraint...
Isn't a fundamental requirement of a technical the fact that it must be based on a toyota pickup?  Otherwise I vote for the 'Caddy in Animal House.... with ping shag carpet and chain sterring wheel......

1) http://www.banzai-institute.com/0704jetc.html

2) Think Minigun. Think several Minigun. Possibly integrate a few TOW-2 launchers, as well as your standard James Bond type kit. Hey, if shit REALLY hits the fan....go multi-demnsional...

3) She's pretty fully loaded as is. Probably upgrade to a nice new GPS system....also some good snooper gear.

4) CD/MP3 player in dash. Integrate minifridge, stocked with plenty of goodies.

I can see an M151 Jeep with a 106 recoilless rifle (with .50 spotting scope) on it.

Alternately a Fast Attack Vehicle (Dunebuggy) with an M2 .50 or or Mk. 19 40mm on top and a pair of M240Gs (MAG 58s) for local suppression.

If you want protection, then it would have to be the M1A2 MBT with the 120mm Rheinmetall, an M2 .50 for the TC, and 2 M240Ds.

Works for me, YMMV.

Too late...[:D] I'm from upstate New York and I'm working in Dallas at DFW Airport this week. I just had a nice rare steak at a place called Trail Dust and washed it down with a frosty 22 oz. Shiner Bock draft.

Mmmmmm.....beer....good.

The secret's out!!
