The "war on terrorism" touched us here on the quiet 'eastern shore' of Maryland january 20, 2002.  U.S. Marine S/Sgt Walter F. "Trae" Cohee, III was killed near Kabul, when the helicopter he was in, crashed.  Another Marine was killed and five others were injured.
The funeral service will be at 10:am at the Mardela Springs, MD Fire Department.  Internment is to be at 1:00pm in the East Newmarket MD cemetary.  Anyone wishing to attend this service is welcomed to do so.  Mardela is located on Rt 50, approximately 100 miles s/e of Baltimore, MD and 45 miles west of Ocean City MD.
We would ask for a moment of silence in honor of Trae, at 1:00pm on Sunday, January 27, 2002.
