Alright... so out of no where I woke up and my knee is feeling awkward.  After walking/work today it seems to feel even worse.
No pain... just feels really stiff and awkward - not comfortable!

Didn't bump it or anything... and no past history with knee issues?!

Ideas?  I'm hoping it goes away.

Did you wake up with swollen lips and what looks like you been eating a glazed donut all over your forehead and bridge of your nose?  If so, your knees are the least of the your concern.

No swelling that I can see (on the outside) and it's not really tender, just stiff and feels funny (so awkward that I'm limping because I don't want to bend it).
Haven't done any running in the past week... no heavy lifting or anything!

Kinda weird...

+1 for Lyme disease...no kidding, Lyme made me feel like my knees were going to lock up. Any other symptoms? slight fever? backache, very tired (I din't even want to get out of bed in the morning)

Full range of motion... but the stiffness is really apparent when I bend my knee completely!
Might have to try the heat pad..

If it doesn't go away soon I will...

I have the same problem with my right knee.

Had an MRI and Dr. said it was torn meniscus.

Said if I lost some weight it would get 'better,'

I've been getting PT on it for four weeks.

Had to go in yesterday and get a cortisone shot.

Feel very little pain now.

Probably hurt like hell tomorrow.

Dude, just lose some weight and you'll be fine.

Is one side of the knee more sore than the other? Is it just your knee that's sore, or does the soreness travel up or down your leg?

Never had knee problems and I know (from friends experiences) that a torn meniscus hurts like a bitch.
Probably not a weight issue..... (6' 0" @ 180)

Mostly the whole knee area... or at least that's where the stiffness is felt.

My quadricep might feel tighter when I bend the knee.. but everything else feels normal

Does it hurt to twist your knee one way or the other?

No pain when I move it in any direction... just a really stiff/awkward feeling.

It's uncomfortable... but it doesn't hurt or anything..
