Whoa! That endmill had more chatter than a terrorist cell.
That would go back with a "Are your QC people frigging blind?" note. |

Tooling marks, In woodworking they are called mill marks but the principle is the same. They are cased by the rotating cutter scooping out the material as the workpiece passes by it. Those are unusually deep.
They must have increased the feed speed to crank out the quantity during the high demand, at the cost of a fine finish. In cross section, they resemble ocean waves as a kid would draw them. |
