When I say need it's probably a want.
It looks like a great product to me. They are however not cheap. Does anyone have one? My g/f was concerned she can't attempt to make the bed look "girly". I told her it's not supposed to be girly. You're supposed to sleep on it, have sex, and maybe try to earn a diamond there 
From the video it looks like a bed skirt will work on it. They have a single one that is much cheaper. Does the single one have steel that goes all the way around and it's hollow on one side or something? Obviously for a Queen sized bed having it on only 1 side would make it lop sided and f'd up in general. Is it worth it? My apt doesn't have a lot of room in it for a safe. We were always advised to keep a firearm far enough from the bed that it would require you to get up long enough for you to wake up. Some people have very real dreams and have had a few times my wife grab me in the middle of the night (still sleeping) thinking I was the bad guy.

The $2700 price tag for a twin model made me
The 1300lbs weight for the queen sized model also made me
It looks kinda cool and I'm sure some people will buy it, but it doesn't seem all that practical. Good luck moving your 1300lb bed when the wife/girlfriend decides to rearrange the room, or if you ever move have fun getting that thing into or out of an apartment. |

rethink putting such a safe on the floor
how many thieves will not look under the bed for valuables? I cannot push my bed over that easily. For fear of my life I will not disclose why

I'd be a little concerned with all that weight concentrated on just those 4 bed legs. It would suck to break through your floor. |

Just hope they don't look under the mattress... Though it looks to be a better value than the "bench safe."

Ummm, I don't understand what you suggest, then. If a guy can load mags in his sleep, he can open a safe. If you can get up slide your bed over, get a key in a lock, and open a safe in your sleep, then you can walk down a hall way and open a normal safe too. |

Good points.....The plus side is that unless some bad guy has brought alot of help, after he has found the safe, he is pretty much limited to breaking into it right there.... I'm concerned because I have no way to mount my safe to the floor, & it wouldn't be that difficult to walk out with it.... I have guns stored in different locations whithin my house, so it is doubtful that somebody would get all of my weapons. I've been looking for a good concealed safe, or cabinet that I wouldn't have to worry about it crashing through my ceiling !! |
