I got another soldier that asked me if he could get CCW, his concern was about a juvenile felony. I told him that if he would not be in the Army if he lost his RTKBA. So he should be able to get his WA state concealed pistol license.
Unfortunately, neither he nor the other GI's present would believe me. One of our sargeants, an AR15.com regular, asked me to post the question here. So I am asking the Hive Mind here, am I right?

This is not answering your question, but i knew a guy who couldnt join because of a Juvenile Miss that the Military Considered a felony but he had a valid CPL at the time. It does not make sense to me.

An adjudication of a felony as a juvenile would exclude him. Here is the link to the Washington State CCW application. The information regarding felony convictions is there: Washington State CCW Application ETA: Question # 1 on page 2 coupled with statement A on page 3 would make him ineligible. |

Was his conviction sealed as a minor?
I had a friend in the same boat, his record was sealed so he was able to pass with flying colors. I would suggest hiring a lawyer to get a solid answer. |
