the video's good, but nothing compares to sitting in or following behind one. the motor doesn't skip a beat, and revs nightmarishly high, literally music.

you hear the rpm's climbing and by sound you think you've tapped out, but it just keeps on producing power.

I like those guys fron the UK that can't afford the aircraft, so they are mounting WWll engines on trailers and run those at airshows.

I noticed that as well. Saw one of a Rolls Royce Merlin being fired up that was pieced togethor from two Mosquito engines.
