I went inside and got ....

a bag of dog treats, went back out and gave him some.  That's what your average arfcommer would do, right?

That is what the average arfcommer would do.  The average LEO would draw down and take out the pooch.

That's different.

I do however know some people would at the very least waterboard the dog for being off its leash and burn down the owners home.

are you a three letter word that starts with c and ends with p?

I tried, but they wanted me to taze my grandmother, I flat out refused. I was also disqualified for being able to successfully differentiate between a wallet and a firearm, even while a black man was holding it.

I kid, I kid. It's all in good fun, don't want this to turn into a cop bashing thread.

Wait a minute...something's not right.

This should have been about how the dog was terrorizing you and how you knew your neighbor and the dog were conspiring against you. After purchasing a video system to catch the dog in the act, you should be here asking legal advice on what to do after you cammo up, hide in the trees, and to catch the monster crapping in your yard because the cops won't do anything about it.

On the flip side, you done good.

Waterboard or go a chemical torture route?

Pacify and dispose method, rain will help provide cover and aid in cleanup

Huh.  A neighborhood dog did the same thing yesterday.  Fortunately I bladed at 45 degrees as I opened the door to the truck.  Recognizing my tacticool-ness, the old gal hopped right in and I took her home.

The police only shoot dogs under 5lbs and they must be tased first.

Nah.  There's a crazy yellow lab out by me that runs around usually once a month or so  He comes by, jumps in the creek and visits for awhile before heading home.  I hook him up with some water and treats while he's here.

My mother had the same situation a few weeks back, neighbors GSD out of the house. Too bad their dog is an evil spawn of satan that bit the shit out of our dog. I wish my mom would learn to use a gun, because that dog could have just as easily gone after her.
