Do we know who is teaching this class?
I need to know so I can put them on my list of "people not to go within 50 miles of". |
|
Look near the end!
The guy is giving instructions, too! He imitates a tap and rack, as if to direct the shooters. He's not ignorant... Just stupid. |
|
Damn...and people think I take chances getting close to grizzlies for a good shot!

Reminds me of a couple of photos that leaked out of a "special" carbine course. ... and were posted here. The shit slinging didn't stop for two days. I'm sure that this thread will end equally well. Yep, Have those around somewhere, but at least the live fire was going both ways. |

Honestly, if he caught a bullet, would anyone be sad or would it be one of those "wow what a dumbass, he was asking for it" things? I know if I stuck my head in a lions mouth, id expect to lose my head and wouldn't expect sympathy.

Meh...no big deal. It's called "big boy rules", and it happens on certain military ranges quite frequently. If you want to check your target, you stay in your lane and check it, while people in ajacent lanes continue firing. If you don't trust them not to hit you, then you get the fuck off the range, and go find some conventional guys to shoot with.

If that happened here, I would pack up my gear and never return to that range.
That sort of lunacy gets ranges closed and guns banned. |

I looked away then suddenly i heard shouting and shooting and had no idea what had happened. |

Dumbass. I didn't think that anyone would be stupid enough to actually sit downrange during live fire.
I always assumed they set their cameras to take pics automatically. Well, they probably do but this tard didn't read the manual |

His group came under attack, but due to his poor choice to engage the hand brake (and forget this later), was unable to drive his group out of harm's way. Furthermore after exiting the vehicle he abandoned his team to hide while the rest came under intense enemy fire. His group sustained several casualties and in his following AAR he blamed their deaths on their inability to fight. |

Should be titled Edinburgh Risk II "What Not to Do...Again: Again Demonstrated by James Yeager."

No, you're not shooting at them.... But it is close enough to be stupid. |

What the fuck kind of a range officer would let that happen? My exact thoughts. Everyone would be an ex-member at my club. |

after reading through this thread, from the less than responsible (ok, utter fucking dipshits who give firearms a bad name) to the story of yeager, i'm just here shaking my head in dismay

Seeing as how it's fairly common with particular organizations, and nobody gets shot, I'd say it makes them look incredibly competent. Shooting a couple thousand rounds a week will do that for you. |

What gets me is all those people on the line, and everyone was ok with it.

Been a while since I saw anything that dumb. I don't care how experienced the shooters are, that is just stupid.
