I was thinking about the little vacation Rikwriter , LARRYG and I received for that war we had with Imbroglio.
I was wondering who else.
Rik, Larry and I wear that with a badge of honor.

Imbroglio was a troll here who was a real jerk off.
He once bragged about taking pics of ARFCOM members license plates at a shoot so he could later turn them over to the ATF (for what we never knew)

BTW, I always LOVED Imbro's posts back in the day.
I don't know the whole story about how he left (banned?), since I was away from Arfcom for a while a few years back. But I do remember loving Imbroglio's posts. I was amazed that he was able to maintain his devil's advocate style, libtard/big-brother-supporter persona so well.

I dont think there is a clear and dry rule about what is acceptable and what isnt, seems to be more up to the discretion of whoever is online.

I got threatened once for trying to give away a 30 round pre-ban when pre-bans were...well pre-post-ban. I commented that I was drinking and I was looking for a good story or something and I would give the mag to the best story. It was locked and when I asked why I was told it was because I said I was drinking and that was against the rules and then I was threatened with a ban when I pointed out how silly it was.

I got one for posting a defense of Steyr Aug during the SA purge. I compared the Koran to the Communist manifesto as an example of ideological propaganda that we shouldn't be afraid to ridicule. It wasn't well received with one of our more religiously sensitive mods.

Learned my lesson. Now I stay away from all discussions that even touch upon religion, or high level banation.

Got a 72 hour time out for first offense, for saying it would be funny if nails fell out of someone's pockets in front of tire of a jerk who double parked at the post office.

No warning, not explanation. Just time out for 72 hours.

By time got to voice my side, 72 hours was over.

ETA: Hope this doesn't earn me another for the same thing.

Three times for being stupid. It seems to get worse the more times you type stupid things. I believe how stupid you type has a bearing also. I think if you type something that is just a little stupid you are not locked for as long as if you really blow a gasket and type something really, really inappropriate.

I think I got a week, then a couple weeks then last time and I do not even remember what it was for I think I just got a 24 hour lock.
I think the first two times I really screwed up then the third surprised me I remember but it must not have been all that bad.

I am really trying to be good because I do enjoy this place for some strange, sick twisted and demented reason.....
