Absolutely.

I actualy think that is the growing setiment in the goverment, I read in the local paper there are several bills in the house and Senate regarding pulling out of the UN, banning peacekeepers in the US, things of that nature. The UN is blantantly Marxist and has aspirations to be a world goverment. I highly recomend the book Semper Mars by Ian Douglas, great Sci-Fi book about a war beetween the US and UN.

i think there is a definite trend among some of the smarter Americans that the UN is anti-American in the sense that it not concernced with our best interests but its own.  not to say that it wants to destroy us (though i wouldn't put it past them), but suffice it to say that they wouldn't mind sacrificing us a bit to achieve THEIR greater "good".

to illustrate, my grandfather and mother are mostly conservative, but hardly active in the political scene and take very little interest in the behind-the-scenes machinations of our representatives.  but on more than one occassion i've heard them both express disgust at the way in which the UN was invading American's sovereignty and/or putting Americans in harm's way for some "greater good".

as for me, i'm with the rest of ya.  as of tomorrow there should be a prime piece of real estate for sale in new york and some very full airplanes and ships head across the big ponds.
