They don't know exactly, but it had something with the roommate refusing to get in on kinky stuff with Knox and her boyfriend. The theory is that the boyfriend and another held the victim down, while Knox slit her throat. Evidently, she did a poor job and didn't hit the carotid, so they let her die a long, slow death. This isn't some cute, innocent girl... she's a cold-hearted killer.
