My girlfriend and I were running out of options for rentals on a Saturday night. Yes, we're watching video's and staying in. It's getting ridiculously expensive to go out. Seventy-five to a hundred for dinner, ten to fifteen dollar cover charges at clubs that you have to wait in line for, six dollar beers and seven dollar mixed drinks that are watered down. Heck, it's just not worth it sometimes.

Anyhow, we saw there were a couple copies of "3000 miles to Graceland" left and decided to get one. We also got "Heartbreakers" and "The fast and the furious."

After a dinner of Chinese food, we opened a bottle of red wine and settled in to watch "Heartbreakers." It was a cute, heartwarming movie. It got my girlfriend all fuzzy inside and we took a shower together. We got friendly with each other before we watched the next movie.

I opened another bottle of wine and we settled in to watch the "The fast and the furious." A good movie that gets you going. Good action if you're into import cars.

By the time we started to watch "3000 miles to Graceland," we were pretty hammered on wine and alternative influences. I wasn't expecting too much from the movie, but it took off from the opening scene. The gun battle in the casino was pretty good. I actually watched it twice. Really good action that flowed quite well. The final standoff at the end was great. A nice twist with a good ending. I highly recommend this movie for those nights when you don't want to do anything.

Ok, it didn't get the greatest review, but I thought it was a pretty good rental.

Where the HELL are you eating dinner at???
Are food prices that much higher in California?
My wife and I can eat at Outback or Ruby Teusday's for about $30-40 tops here in Florida.

When we go out, we usually have sushi at Mosan's in Laguna Beach or Aysha's in Newport beach. She likes Aliso's in Corona Del Rey and the Ritz in Dana Point. We do NOT eat too much at the Ritz. A nice place, but really, really, ridiculously overpriced. We can normally keep the tab to around seventy five, but we usually go way over that.

It was awesome on my home system. I have an HK AV50 with a pair of Uni-Q's 70's for my mains, Uni-Q 290's for my center, Klips for my satelites, and a 100 watt 12 inch thumper.

Oh yeah? check this stuff out:

PCV80-213 with optional WERV44 on a flat deck, and dual IB200s in the front and rear of the diagonal PP1. Updated recently with a pair of long-extension (wavelength) RTV1100s.

The only drawback is it runs exclusively off 6 volt power source.
