We all know that Hollywood is populated with left-wing liberal celebrities. But other than Rich Schroeder or Tom Selleck, are there other Republican/Pro-gun celebrities out there?

Keep in mind that a lot of shooting celebrities, as well as a lot of action hero types, are of the "Not for the little people" stripe. They are pro-gun for them, but not for common folk. Stallone and Mel Gibson, for example, made their careers off gun-based movie mayhem, but both of them are anti-2nd Amendment.

From what I understand, both Gary Oldman (Sid & Nancy, The Professional, The Fifth Element) and James Woods (Vampires, Once Upon a Time in America, The General's Daughter) are both very conservative.

How right you are, Spearweasel. Steven Spielberg has a large gun collection, but he damn sure doesn't want the unwashed masses (us) to have guns.

James Woods is RAGING!  I saw him on the FOX am show a few months back, and he was GREAT!  He's also an MIT grad and a certified GENIUS, which helps our cause.  Too bad he only plays lunatics, but that's why James Woods is James Woods.

Believe it or not, the "staunch Republican" that Arnold is...he believes in "reasonable" gun control laws...guess that's what happens when you marry into the Kennedy family!

That's also what happens when you have aspirations of running for Governor in Kalifornia.

Rich Schroeder as in Ricky Shroeder that was in Silver Spoons?  The guy who, as he was endorsing George W. Bush, talked about the most satisfying part of the role he played in a TV (don't know the show, I don't have a working TV) show was taking away guns from their owners?  If he is "on our side," then we're in trouble.z

Louise Mandrell is an avid shooter.
Madonna said "That she has a greater respect for food when she has had a part in killing it and seeing it cleaned!"
That is why Rosie is no longer friends with Madonna![BD]

Pretty sure, though I'll happily admit to being wrong. I seem to recall seeing interviews where they ragged on Charlton Heston about the NRA pretty harshly.

I don't know about them personally, but many Stallone and Mel Gibson movies are very anti-gun. You can often see anti-gun/anti NRA stickers or signs on buses and bulletin boards in the background but very obviously placed.

That is real interesting particularly in that these movies glamorize excessive gun violence and reek of unsafe gun handling.

Gerald McRaney, a true gentleman.

BTW I met him in Jan 2001 in downtown New Orleans, where he and his wife live. We were part of a some reenactors of the War of 1812 who were present for the annual ceremonies for the Battle of New Orleans, and, just for ha-has, we decided to march down Bourbon St. in formation in full kit, incl. our flintlock Baker rifles. Despite our green uniforms, he came out, recognised immediately who were portraying and said, "I see the British have arrived- good work, fellows", and we kept on marching until we figured out who he was. Double take![:)]
