The only people that I ever hear mispronounce Rush's name are those liberal POSs that oppose Rush, us, and our common agenda.

The mispro is intentional. I appreciate Rush most of the time - as an ENTERTAINER, but the topics he chooses NOT to cover speak volumes about his true political nature.

Ever hear him spend any time on ILLEGAL aliens and their burden on taxpaying AMERICANS? Anyone who brings up the topic is labeled a KOOK.

Ever hear him rail about the Fabian Socialist leanings of the "moderate" Republican elite from the New England states and how they squelch conservative ideas?

What was known as "far left" is now being redefined as "moderate". Rush does nothing to educate the listener about the re-definition of terms from his golden EIB microphone.

I agree in principle with you, but IMO you are missing the big picture.

Rush speaks about that which he knows he can get away with.

Remember, ULTIMATELY, you are NO GOOD if you so alienate yourself to the point that NO ONE will listen to you. Or CAN listen to you.

It is my beleif that IF Rush spoke of the things you refer to, "they" (this is a conspiracy theory, which exempts me from defining who "they" actually refers to [:D] ) would put him off the air. I believe if he REALLY spoke the truth, he would "mysteriously" die within one week. I really beleive that.

That said, he does an IMMENSE service. I routinely find myself CHEERING when he tells it like it is.

I haven't been to a K-Mart since they announced they were quitting handgun ammo sales. I guess it worked. I even e-mailed them and they essentially told me my opinion about their ban was worthless.

Now will I buy stuff from them during their going out of business sale? I haven't decided yet.

BTW, on Rush, he is nearly not as much fun since he went from being the opposistion press to being the unofficial White House spokesman.

how about a 'save k-mart' campaign.  

they clean up their stores, sell some American products, hire some average intelligent workers (especially in sporting goods) and recognize the Second Amendment by selling guns and ammo, and we start shopping there again.

they are on the ropes and if their present condition does not change they will soon be down for the count.  i have no problem with this, but maybe if they return to a policy of putting the customer first (see above), why not?
