Well almost... surely that topic didn't get axed 'for cause'...

Now what the hey am I supposed to do about the 'stupid question' contest I offerred (w/ prize TBA)...

I HATE trying to re-compose stuff... and since I didn't archive my reply in case of a mis-cue that's what I'd have to do... oh well, I think the only fair thing to do would be to repost the contest deal at a later time and give everyone a chance... OTOH... if someone knew the answer and gave a timely response, I guess they'da won anywho, so mayhaps I should honor it anyhow... although some of the fun sure got lost since most folks won't have a clue as to what the deal was...

Follow-up to 'stupid question' contest...

I only got one response... I guess cause it wasn't up long enough for but a couple folks to see it...

In any case it was 'Jakesdadjake' (an ar15'r newbie per his reg date) and he had the correct answer...

I'll be awarding him the prize... which we've agreed to be a 'range quality' (cosmetic wise) 20 rd. mag...

Still like to know why the originator of the thread (or moderator) choose to deep-six the sucker... but thaz they prerogative... if anybody knows why I'd sure appreciate letting me in on it...
