I don't know with all the rest of you but between the two, I would prefer the P226 more than the G34. But if it was between the P225 and the G19, then no question about it, I would go with the G19.

I've got plenty of plastic rifles but no plastic pistols yet - just something about them "feels" so wrong.
I suppose if I had to wear one on my hip 8 to 12 hours a day everyday I'd look to the plastic to save the weight. While camping I'll always have a S7W 6" 686 .357 or a Springfield 1911A1 in a belt holster. Those two are on the heavy end of the scale but I don't seem to mind them after a long day. I've shot a couple of Glocks (well) but just didn't enjoy the plastic enough to get one (yet). Contrast that with the first time I shot with a 1911A1 and bought one that month. I am running out of real guns to buy so I'll end up with a Glock sooner or later - probably a model 20 in 10mm since it's the finest firearm on the planet according to some experts [;)]. |

I shot the Glock side by side with the PT92 I carry and wouldn't even consider carrying the glock over the 92. |

Actually, I have a confession to make. I'm possessed by the two headed plastic Demon Heckler and Koch. It has led me to forsake all other plastic pistols and associate with only its dark mistress Rubbermaid. I turned on John Moses Browning two years ago and sold him for another evil plastic Fire Demon.

Uh, Pakrat you should use good ventilation when your clean your weapons. Put down the Gunscrubber and back away towards an open window. Maybe spend some time in the mountains with some fresh air.

Glock....in 9mm? Why?
Glock....in 10mm Kurz (40 S&W)? Why? Glock in 10mm...now that's a pistol and one to own...all the baby Glocks? Yeck! Love my Model 20's though. Nothing else out there to compare with them in that caliber. |
