Will it replace Red Dawn or HEAT as the Arfkom movie?  I'd say it has a good chance.  It comes out in three weeks and I absolutely cannot wait.  Me and my buddy are gonna see it opening day, fall back to his place, BBQ some steaks, and get hella drunk after.  It might very well be the perfect day.  Can anybody think of any reason why Salvation will not be the most awesome piece of fiction ever put to celluloid?

That's the only thing I'm worried about.  Personally, I want the motherfucker to be rated somewhere between NC-17 and XXX, so as to make sure the awesome is at a max.  You can do a lot with PG-13, but I just really hope it doesn't turn out like I am Legend and be a case of unfufilled potential.

....so Red Dawn could have been better had there been scenes like a huge wolverine gangbang on the side of the mountain before they got shot to hell by the Hind helicopters?  Patrick Swayze going to town on that chick from Dirty Dancing on a rock....then BAM!!!!!  30mm to the chest!

...yeah that would be awesome.

a PG-13 rating neuters action movies.  It should be a solid "R" rating - complete with unnecessary random boob shots a-la every decent 80's action movie.

Hell, the original Matrix was decent, Rated "R" and kicked ass at the box office...

All of the subjects are from the 80's or earlier.  Says a lot for the creativity of current movie writers.

The Terminators that are motorcycles on the bottom had me whispering "Uh oh" in the theater. They looked really cheesy.

Also I love AR15s as much as anyone on the planet, but how many more scenes can they have of the human resistance rattling off completely ineffective carbine and subgun fire at these giant bulletproof robots? I would think after the 100,000 5.56mm round you bounced off one of these things you'd come up with a Plan B and make some kind of panzerfaust or something.

Actually in the trailer Connor delivers the coup de grace with an HK416 after a helo lands on a terminator.

the pg 13 rating has got me concerned as well.  I think the problem with modern movies is that they rely to much on cgi, to me that sorta makes things shitty and takes the gritinessaway from the film.  But ill spend my money on the movie because im a fan.
