Several years ago, I had jury duty and a guy showed up wearing ratty cut-offs, a torn T-shirt and flip-flops.

The judge fined him $200 for contempt of court.

Yeah, I think that with a response like that, they'd make him come in just for the inconvenience of voir dire.  And with that attitude, depending on the case, one of the lawyers may think he's a perfect fit!
