I wish mine would, I havent been able to find any useful ammo for weeks (looking for Rem 9 & 45 jhp valpacks, Fed 223 or 22lr, 12ga slugs or buck).  Who wants a WWB 50rd box of 357Sig or Win 30-06 SP, they've had one box of each for 5 weeks?

same here. i don't care either way, but would hate to think that the decision to do that was the result of people fucking whining about not being the one to buy it all first....

Yep.  Email came down from Home Office on Tuesday, only 6 boxes per person per day.

Had to sign a statement stating that it could be up to job termination if found to be selling more than 6.

My Wally World hasn't had 6 boxes of centerfire pistol ammo on the shelf in 3 months...so it's a moot point here.

I just talked to the "Market Manager" (the guy over the 30 ish stores in my area).

I told him it is FUBAR.

WTF, I can has 6 boxes blazer brass (300 rounds) or I can has 6 boxes WWB value pack (600 rounds).

CCI 22LR comes 100 per, remington subsonic comes 50 per if they break up the brick.

WTF.

No problem here. Last few months I've managed to get about 4 boxs total from 3 different stores.

I still think it's a BS rule. Someone comes in they should be able to buy all they want if it's available. If I miss out it's my tough luck...........

I know free market and all but I agree with this.  Especially the part where gun stores are sending their employees in to buy it all.  It is bullshit especially when I have to drive 40 miles to get to a Wal-Mart so would like to be able to get a brick of .22lr if I am in town.  If people are buying it to keep that is one thing but buying it to sell it for profit just pisses me off.

Left with no ammo. Oh well, better luck next week.

Oh, and they also had the 6 box per customer limit.

They limited me to 2 boxes of 9mm this past weekend. I asked the clerk why, and he said "Because so many people want to buy ammo."

The other day I noticed Wal-Mart here actually had some .223 in.  I asked how much, the clerk got a box out and brought it over and said $42.97/100  He counted and said there's 10 boxes there and acted like he expected me to buy it all.  I didn't get any.

Yep, local Walmart here said other gun shop owners were coming in and buying everything on Walmarts shelves every day. Than doubling the price and selling it to the gunshop customers. That would be $44 for a box of WWB 9mm, and there is litterally 100+ boxes of WWB on the local shelves of the gunstore next to me for $44. I hope that more people will be able to buy from Walmart now and the gunshop owners will be stuck with their $44 boxes of 9mm.

what sucks is that the walmarts by me all said that they are not getting the large shipments of ammo like they used to. The counter guy said that they used to get large skids of ammo. He sadly laughed and said "today we got TWO 50rd boxes of Blazer.....nobody used to buy the blazer just the WWB and now it lasted 30 seconds"

My local range does that too.  Can't blame them.  If there's no ammo to shoot, they lose a lot of range revenue.

Good. right now its the only way to limit this "false speculation" that is being driven by cocksuckers. no different than ticket scalping. And since it aint some gubbmint law its  private coorporation none of these jerk off "free marketeers" can go "waaaaaaah! why cant i get something for nothing?? its free enterprise i tells ya!!" Fuck off and die goddamn parasites.

It's not BS.

WM makes more money selling less items to more people, than they do selling all the items to one person...

Why?

Because the 'more people' buy more 'other stuff' when they come in for ammo...

It makes perfect sense, and since it is a private company deciding of their own free will how to conduct their private business...

Capitalisim, FTW

That it makes life hard for morons who are hoarding ammo... Is irrelevant....

BS or not...they ARE acting like capitalists. They know that if they limit sales, they will draw more people into their store while still selling the same amount of ammo. More people in the store means more shit sold=profit. Not that I like it, but it makes perfect sense on their part.

It is a smart plan on Wal Mart's end.  As someone said as more people come in to buy ammo it increases the chances that someone will make a secondary purchase of something other than ammo.

My boyfriend and I go up to the counter separately. He goes and buys the limit (one box at our walmart) then when he leaves the counter I come up and buy another box.

Next time I want to buy my box with my BF still at the counter then be like, "ready honey?" right in front of the cashier just to spite them.
