I do not know about the website you are referring to. Have you ever considered using locking-cable snares? The animal walks into the snare, pulls it tight, and it doesn't release. I have taken many coyotes with them and they make them for hogs also. Besides, they are very cheap in price.

This guy not only sells the product, he lives the lifestyle. He also posts on Frugals and some other messge boards. Order his survival snare kit, a couple deer snares, a bottle of coon lure, and have fun. |

Here is a link to the current website of the company listed above. The even offer snares specifically for hogs. I find them very inexpensive and useful. Find a game animal trail or where a game animal is crawling under a fence. Place a cable snare there and when the animal places its head in the snare and pulls, it locks down. Usually, the animal quits fighting and lies down. You then come along and dispatch it. They also offer spring-loaded "dispatch" snares that kill the animal, but these are not recommended in areas where you may accidentally catch a domesticated animal. Good luck!
