Any chance we could add a glossary to the FAQs? What does blade at 45 mean?
|
|
I really do think that we should have a tacked glossary of terms

Here's what I know:
SIIHPAPP –– Stick it in her pooper and post pics, which would be a CoC violation Tag –– for marking posts so that you can search them later |

Where did "rep 215" come from? It was a fairly recent parking lot tough guy thread. I can't remember the title though, otherwise I'd search and post a link. |

Is this where rep 215 came from?
http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=850251&page=1 in the walmart parking lot. Went in to see if they had ammo, ad they had 16 boxes. So after contemplating for a second I bought all 16 boxes of Federal 55gr 100 round boxes for $39.99. As I was finishing up some guy was getting all pissy and staring at me casue I had bought all the boxes. So I figured when I left he might follow me and sure enough he did. I would of sold him a box or 2 but he got all lippy and I was dressed in my business attire and little did he know I rep out 215 like I it was going out of style. So I got up real close and told him one more word and he was going to get put to sleep(rear choke...maybe triangle if it got to the ground) he stepped back cussed me out and wacked away. Long story I got 16 boxes of ammo for 688 including tax.

So, let me get this straight, the "blading at 45 degrees" is a reference to how one would swing a sword, coming down at 45 degrees. The popularity of the term being based in the intensity of the post about how the guy knocked the guard's arm out of the way.

The popularity of the term being based in the intensity of the post about how the guy knocked the guard's arm out of the way. blading refers to positioning your body in a way where you are in between the third party and your gun. in the context of this site some walmart greeter or some such was trying to disarm a guy oc'ing a .44 mag on his hip or something. he angled his body at a 45 degree angle so his body was in between his holstered weapon and the guy, that was probably 78 years old, who was apparently reaching for his gun in an attempt to disarm him. that thread is still floating around in gd somewhere, it had its one year birthday a few days back also involved in this story are the "DISENGAGE" and "MASSIVE ADRENALINE DUMP" references, by which the first refers to what the guy was yelling at the walmart greeter and the latter refers how getting hasseled by a walmart employee got his adrenaline going. |

Only pussies and faggots blade at 45 degrees. Real men, like me, blade at one million degrees.

I guess you could add "the sound that shall not be named" and "fixed bayonets forward", and then there is that number (not sure if it is ban-able or not)
