The link below is to an article in our local paper writen by the outdoors reporter (hunting and fishing). I'm not sure I follow the guy.  Here is an excerpt from a recent article.

Here's why outdoorsmen - particularly those who want clean air and water - shouldn't cast knee-jerk ballots for politicians of either party based on nonissues such as gun control.

It appears he feels President Bush is anti-environment and, therefore, gun control should take a backseat to environmental issues when voters visit the polls.
