I manage a CVS Pharmacy here in B'ham, AL.  A few days ago, one of my sister stores in a "not-so-good" section of town was robbed at gunpoint.  Seems the criminal waited for the person in front of him to finish, then he proceeded to his place at the register.  He then pulls out his gun and proceeds with his little robbery, regardless that there is someone in line behind him.  Well, that someone was an off duty B'ham police officer!!  Ha ha ha!!!  Cop swats his arm then grabs his little ass up by the belt, knocking him ass over tea kettle to the ground!  Dumb luck, that.  Hey man, time to consider a career change, eh?

All that was missing was John Bunnell in the background proclaiming that this will continue to happen "As long as pharmacies are SO EASY to get into!"  or "Then the perpetrator pulled out his POWERFUL .38 automatic sniper Glock armor-piercing gun"  or "NOBODY should have access to where the POWERFUL drugs are stored".

Another one for the good guys!

Argh!!, can't stand that !$*$#@ John Bunnell and his commentary on COPS and the other shows he narrates.

That sounds like the two genius that tried to rob our local riteaid. They didn't notice that the city police department was just across the street. They also didn't think that the employees would know the difference between a bb gun and a real gun. Seems the employees saw the bb gun and split leaving the "gunman" inside alone. Of course a retreating employee comes out and catches one of the city police turning off main street into the lot of the police department. Cop goes in and finds the guy waiting inside at the register trying to act like he is trying to buy something. I guess they are criminals because they are not real smart.

Couldn't agree with you more. He irritates me no end. There's something about his voice inflections that make me want to rip his head off and shit down his neck.

A while back, an off-duty airman attempted to rob the Holiday Inn in Anchorage.  There was a cop convention in session there when he tried to pull it off, got busted.

Like the guy here in Missouri who broke into a gas station while wearing camo....but forgot to use a set of camo that didn't say ARMY, HIS NAME, and have his unit patch....yup...a National Guard Guy....

Not saying anything bad about National Guard....just that this one wasn't very smart.
