i heard about this tonight, you would have to be dumb to call the cops and have drugs laying around.

but i dont see it as much of a black eye as DOJ agents arresting people at the gun shows. what happened is a personal matter and had nothing to do with gun show bidness.

The mayor of SLC is a liberalpuke who will try to tie the gun business in with it.  Not good.

But when Kaysville police arrived, they spotted a slew of weapons with illegal drugs nearby, said Kaysville Police Chief Dave Helquist.

Why do people insist on leaving their crap in plain view for the cops to see?

"Someone called" to report "something" suspious?

Hmmmmmmmm......

Would the call, if traced, come back to a nearby payphone, and if taped sound somewhat like a white male in his 30s speaking through a hanky....

Ya just gotta wonder about warrantless searches of homes...

and where were the drugs and firearms in "plain view" sitting out at? Is there a video showing the police entry and then, uncut, showing the stuff in plain view?
