I need to know how long and at what temperature in the oven to reactivate some desiccant bags I have.  They are about 6"X8" in size.

I went through my safe yesterday and found some rust on guns in the back.  Apparently the Goldenrod is not that effective.

If it is silica jell (looks like rock salt) I put mine in 240F oven for 3 hours.
Goldenrod only raises the temp slightly. The moisture is still in there.
I still keep desiccant in with mine and recharge it every other month or so.
I have a few moisture indicator cards in the safe too, to tell me when its time.

Any limit on how many times you can reuse them?

nope

The lab I work in has been using the same desiccant for more than 20 years. We routinely bake it over night.
