Getting a 1940's Gillette razor and wanting some great blades for it...

It's really a matter of personal preference.













So far, I like the Crystals and Feathers.







Here's one man's opinion (and many comments) about a variety of blades.

Yep. That thread is what made me (reluctantly) decide to give DE shaving a whirl.

 



I'm glad I did. Definitely a better shave, and MUCH more enjoyable. I actually look forward to shaving now.




It can also be much cheaper, if you stick to the basics. But nobody does. You tend to start spending money on an assortment of creams, soaps and aftershave products.




Started with a Merkur 38C. Yesterday, I added a 1958 Gillette FatBoy.
