I just watched a movie last night and it worked fine.

Went to pop in Band of Brothers and there is no sound. Tried a few other movies, still nothing.

Tried different HDMI Ports on the TV, still nothing.

Sound works watching TV, but nothing from the PS3.

Any ideas?

you try swaping it to optics? if the optics works then either A HDMI cord is messed up B. HDMI port is messed up

if neither works then its possible your have a drive issue

what model PS3? 20,40,60, 80?
