did you try to reset the ps3? hold down the power button

you try swaping it to optics? if the optics works then either A HDMI cord is messed up B. HDMI port is messed up
if neither works then its possible your have a drive issue what model PS3? 20,40,60, 80? |

Ill give that a shot, I tried 2 different HDMI cords in 2 different ports on my tv, so Ill give optical a shot. Its an 80 gig |

well hope that helps you kind of strange to hear problems with an 80
your probably going to have to call sony if it turns out to be your HDMI port |

Thanks for all the help anyway guys. |
