A few train images for my fellow arfcom railheads...

Almost there. CSX northbound crosses Shannon Rd enroute to Birmingham's Boyle's Yard.



Power on tap. Locomotives tied up for the night on the Decatur Beltline.





Southbound train on the CSX S&NA South Subdivision.

Idle ballast train at Alice Yard. The site is significant because it is named after Birmingham's first (in the city limits) blast furnace (circa 1881) formerly located nearby.


Coal train blazes thru Cullman, Al at dusk.


Norfolk Southern trains staged on the approach to Norris Yard. Irondale, Al
