If there was a call and the military really needed it? I'm talking like batten down the hatches shtfs stuff. Could/would you guys donate it?
If the military needs my ammo - chances are that I need it too...
Then again - if there is a bring your ammo to work day - that means that we are most likely overrun. |
If it were that bad, I think most here would put it to good use.
At one time I think they collected gun to send to the British during ww2 but the answer here is:
HELL NO |
That's pretty silly, but if it somehow came down to that, I'd take a few days off and reload some ammo for them. I'll be damned if I'm giving all I've got to anyone for any reason though.
It will never happen.
And fuck no. If the military would rather burn/destroy ammo than sell to civilians in good times, why should civilians supply them in bad times? This situation would never. ever. happen. Plus, not sure if they wanna be shootin my reloads, haha |

i would rather arm, and supply family and friends and set up a cmpound and secure the perimiter to keep others from stealing my ammo

No.
They already tax me enough to pay for multiple pallets of .223 every year. If they run out it is their own fault. |
What guarantees do I have that my ammo isn't going to be loaded into those chambers and pointed back at me?
Oh right, none. FUCK NO. _MaH |
beside all of that it might end up in wrong hands, IE: obama's million man malitia. then he could use it to take every other thing from us.
iE |
No.
If they're running out of 5.56, then use some other warfare technique. Uhm, carpet bombing comes to mind. |
Not until:
1. I can go into a gunstore put my money down, pass a ncic check and walk with a full auto in every state in the union. 2. During peace time, excess US mil ammo is made available to citizens at contract price. |
I kept my BDU's, I'd just cut out the middle man and give it to the end receiver myself.
Which administration? Definitely not if this one. Won't happen anyways.
Anything for my country. It's just too bad I seemed to have shot all of my 5.56mm up. Dang!

Not a fucking chance in hell. THIS. If it's that's bad, the only way I'm giving up ammo is bullets first. It will never happen though and I don't own any little bitch, mouse guns anymore. |
Military run out of ammo? You guys should see the inside of the Los Pulgas ammo dump in Camp Pendleton. I think they are good on the ammo!

If shtf would you give them your Kimber and your other guns? |
What ammo? I dont have any of that.
Maybe they should start reloading their non-mutilated brass. |

I'll sell it to them. $5 per round. 5.56 NATO will be $6. Haven't you heard? That's what they pay for em anyway. |
If they need my ammo, then the S has really HTF.
Zombies in the streets, dogs and cats living together, total chaos. I think I will need some ammo myself. |
Sooo this is the same government that in reality takes a good HALF of our income every year, and our children's, and grandchildren's by borrowing money to pay for their socialized/collectivist programs,
the same government that says I can't buy a new machine gun, the same government that says I'm guilty until proven innocent in virtually all of its dealings, including the 'background checks' to buy a gun from an over-regulated dealer courtesy of the b a t f e, the same government that restricts sales of surplus military ammo to us lowly 'civilians', That government? I'll have to think about it. |
I would donate some extra, yes.
I would also volunteer to load it for them for the war effort. |
All I have at the moment is .223 Barnaul. Not up to MILSPEC so they wouldnt even want it right?
But HELL NO anyway! |

I don't think my partial bandoleer would tip the scales.
And I coat all my bullets in polonium. It would be against the Geneva Convention for the military to use them. |
Yea man, because they'd be shipping me a can or two of 855 when I need it, right?
Fair's fair. |
NOne of my ammo is Geneva convention compliant. Mostly ballistic tip and a few HP. Wouldn't want to get anyone in trouble.
No. Fucking. Way.
First, I can't foresee how the military would be in such a bind that they need MY ammo. Second, if they did, I would probably need it, too. So again, NO. FUCKING. WAY. |
well i could turn over my hot ones loaded with bullseye.. but the others im keeping..
