You may recall my "ARFCOMMER In Chicago Hit for pro-gun stance", wherein I described my arrest in Chicago for having an unloadedd Glock in a Maxpedition case.........
UPDATE: Today, in the anti-gun City of Chicago, the anti-gun County of Cook and the anti-gun State of Illinois, the Judge granted our Motion To Dismiss !!!!!!! On top of that, the Judge said that until today, he'd always ASSUMED that a gun had to be DISASSEMBLED in order to be legally transported !!!!!! I'll type up a complete description of the proceedings later tonight, but I thought I'd share the news. The Prosecution tried vigorously to confuse the issues of the case, but in the end Justice reigned supreme !!!!!!! The Judge however, refused to give me back my gun.........that's a matter for later discussion with my Atty. I'm currrently seeking permisssion from Striker to appeal for donations. My Atty bill is gonna be scary. Thank You Chris Morley |

Well that is great news Sir. I hope you get your gun back and that your case will keep others from being illegally arrested.
This is big news.
just wondering, Did you have ANY ammo on you? |
Great News...................A great big THANK YOU..............for being on the front lines in the 2nd Amendment battle!!!
I am happy your case was dismissed, I am sad that you have another expensive battle to get your gun back..if the gun cost's less than the attorney is gonna charge you to get it back, might want to say screw it & just buy another.....just my .02 cents

good news
what was the reason given for not being returned your property? |
Great news! I would like the reason stated for not returning the firearm. but at least your free
Assumed?
What a great fucking judge that is. You should sue the state, city, and county for the attorney fees and incompetence because no one knew the law. |
I will gladly kick in a few $ to help. If we can raise over $70k for RINO McCain I am sure we can do it here.

Good job man! When my Atty asked, the Judge said. "I don't care. I never return guns" CKMorley |

Congrats for not being in trouble... hope you get your weapon back.

Good job man! When my Atty asked, the Judge said. "I don't care. I never return guns" CKMorley Isn't that unconstitutional in and of itself? For a person (judge) to use their position of authority to impress their beliefs on others. Especially since they couldn't make a case against you? He didn't remove your right to own, but he certainly stole your gat and you didn't even commit a crime according to the record. |

Thank you for standing up for all of our RKBA rights as well.
Now butt-bang 'em for violating your farging civil rights! |

People have won lawsuits for some really dumb shit in this country. I find it hard to believe he has a legitimate reason for a lawsuit and he can't for some reason. After he does he needs to move far away from Illinois |

It's messed up you would have to go through all that.
Perhaps they'll leave the next gun owner alone AND change their stupid views on legal firearms ownership. Keep up the fight! Way to go! |
Congrats on getting the case dismissed. If I didn't need to buy a car right now I'd send you the money to get a new gun and forget about the old one

Good job man! When my Atty asked, the Judge said. "I don't care. I never return guns" CKMorley Coming from a Judge who "assumed" a firearm had to be broken down for transport, I'd say he's "assuming" he has the right to retain the private, legally owned, property of a law abiding citizen with no grounds what so ever to do so. I wonder how many cars he siezes in dismissed traffic court cases? Sounds like one helluva case to me. If agreeable to site staff, let us know what you're doing and when you need money. |

Get your story to someone in the media. You'll get representation and your gun back.

Cngrats....a win for the good guys. good luck on getting the gun back, hang in there.

Sounds like every Chicago judge I've ever had to deal with. (Thaddeus Kowalski from back in the early 90s comes to mind)

Seizure of property without due process. Sue under USC 1981. Pay twice a much as the cost of the gun don't keep letting these fascists violate people's Constitutional rights.
