Didn't know if there was some sort of "official" way of picking the winner or requirments. One of the shops around here (MA) is giving away a .50 rifle with scope, bipod, tripod basically $4000 worth of gun, and they are just going to pick names out of a hat. $100 gets you in, but when they do the drawing the last name in the hat wins. I talked to the guy and his reasoning for this is to see how high the offers for other people’s tickets go when it is down to the last 5 people. Who said FFL’s don’t have a sense of humor? |

I can't make any promises except that I wont win any of this crap!!! (Although, I do pay for it all!!! Since I first started the "team member" stuff I felt a bit badly... the thing was, the guys here shouldn't have to help keep things running... that just crap! Well, at the time I really needed the help (.com crash has killed my finances!) and since then have tried to make the benefits and tools worth the small investment. At the same time I decided to give back to you guys from the funds.
Sure, it's a wierd kinda compromise, but I just want to thank you guys for stepping up like this and giving back puts a smile on my face. That's why for the second give-a-way of the year, I wanted to hand out more stuff and continue to do so. Sure winning a shirt is nice, but winning a rifle or a nice jacket is much better IMHO!!! (The first give-a-way was LEGP #223, which will again be done around August of this year with the 2002 LEGP.) Anyhow, I just wanted to thank all you guys for taking the time to help out when we needed it. I'm not sure the site would have made it otherwise. [=)] [i]Only criteria for this give-a-way is that it's only for the Team members. Your names will be drawn from a garbage can (too many names!) and I'll try to have a select few (3-5) verify it all via a live web-cam, while everyone patiently waits in chat as the results roll in!!![/i] |

If anyone in Cali wins somthing they cant have I will be happy to buy it from the for 2x the cost of their membership and let them come shoot it when they want, since I am just a little ways from them in Phoenix.....If you want, I can just send the money to GB in your name so you will have membership status for 2 more years....I am just a nice kinda guy, I know.
So If we win one Item, does our name go back in for the rest of the drawings? Are you going to start with the big items? cause I will be bummed if i win a hat and am out of the rest of the drawings...hmmm think this came up in the last drawing, think the names did go back in. Dam medium range memory aint what it used to be, guess it is pre-middle age kicking in. |
