Anyone recognize the police officer in the photo?

For those that don't he was a spokeman in the recent National Geographic Special Series - Guns in America;

In a nutshell, he is a Philadelphia police officer that was shot in the face and believes the government should impose stricter gun control laws.  He doesn't believe anyone needs a gun in today's society and his superiors have called for permanent bans on all so called 'assault weapons'.

I bet he is the next Brady Campaign poster boy for gun control.  Why ELSE would he've been at the Speech?  IMO, this is just more proof that it's coming soon.
