Turned on the tv and thought I must have been dreaming.  The picture was somebody shooting a M249 SAW and when I saw who it was I was like Woah!  It was Carson Daly (hate the guy) and Kid Rock at an army range in Germany I think.  Never thought anyone from MTV would shoot a gun.  Of course, he referred to it as the M-60 Machine Gun

I saw the same show. Kid Rock seemed pretty Pro Gun. Carson Daly kept saying how cool it was to shoot the "M60". Maybe this will turn him into one of us. I doubt it.

Mtv?  Oh, you must mean MONEY tv!  It hasn't been about the music in 8 years or so.  They're a corporately run liberal lifestyle channel now.

Mtv are using the military the same way other networks and corporations are using the FDNY or NYPD.  Its phony.  I wonder how the soldiers really feel about Mtv?  Mtv and most of their lackys have left wing bias and probably voted for Bill "I hate the military" Clinton twice in a row.  

I think Mtv decided a few months ago to go the safe route - I was convinced when 9/11 happened that they would be the official 'Anti-war liberal college protester' network in all this but they've gone the other way.  Of course, Mtv know a lot about 'going both ways'...sorry, couldn't resist.
