Your foot and lower leg will be perfectly protected. Unfortunately they'll be about 30 feet away from the rest of your body if you step on a mine.

Hey RAF, these only cost $170. Mine cost $270 and I can get them with smooth soles, which I do, for the do do.

Maybe we can get Clinton and John Walker to "volunteer" for testing. Or, if that seems unethical, we can just clone them and test on the clones.

I actually tested the version developed by Wellco here in the US.. strictly for comfort and ergonamics, not blast protection( they did that at Aberdeen). When facing small anti-personell mines, these are effective. We know of several cases of troops (non US) steeping on mines and going back to work after only 30 days of light duty.
