We used to receive them by mail, but now I get emails from Nigeria offering me part of a multi-million-dollar cost overrun on a government contract. All I have to do is send them a copy of our company letterhead, bank routing information and my signature. [rolleyes]
I keep many of these and use them as a gauge of the economy - the more the value of the scam, the better the economy is doing! |

Check out Soldier of Fortune magazine. They had an article on the Nigerian scams.Seems they`ve even killed a few of the people they`ve ripped off. I think the secret service has a webpage dedicated to it. |

Hey never mind the got/have penis crap. How exactly do you disable cookies at porn sites,,,,,how do you make the random porn e-mail ease up without making yourself a 16y/o on aol? any tips are useful,,,thanks in advance.

Lonegunman, to disable cookies, click Tools>Internet Options>Security>Custom Level> then in the menu, scroll down to disable cookies and check that box. Then click OK and it will ask you if you want to change your security settings, click yes and you're done.
Myself, I'm fed up with credit card and finance companies spamming me. GOOD GRIEF! |

I deal with the spam that comes through my ISP so I see alot. My favorite spam subject was "4 out of 5 masturbaters prefer our site".

It's so common that they just decided to name it after the section of Nigerian Law (419) that forbids this kind of scam. Very popular scam.... I work as a Fraud Investigator and see these things on a daily basis.... Those Nigerians will steal anything!!!! Their favorites: 1) Bibles or the Quran (I think you go directly to Hell, do not pass go, do not collect $200 for stealing the Bible) 2) Inkjet Printer Cartridges (Don't ask my why, but they try to steal them by the 1000's) [img]http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/togo.gif[/img] |
