It's time to buy a few new sets of pants and was wondering what ARFcom would recommend. I'm going to try a couple pair of 5.11s so no need to mention those.

Basically just looking for something lightweight and somewhat durable. Nothing too extreme or bulky.

1) I'm a huge fan of Carhartt. I love the cargo pants, but you may have to order them online. Be sure to order a size or two LARGE. For some reason they always run small.

2) If you are looking for tacticool, then TADGear can't be beat. All TADGear clothing is US MADE, and made in small custom runs.

Oh, and they aren't cheap, but they are freaking excellent pants: TADGear Pants

go to Sams club and get yourself a pair of MembersMark jeans.  they are $12.50 a pair and are made in mexico by real mexicans which i think is a great thing.. keep those mexicans employed in mexico, keeps them there.  or you can try to find a pair of $60 made in the USA jeans, made by genuine illegals.

i bought one pair a few years ago and figured what the hell, if they suck then i havent lost much.... but they didnt suck, not only do they wear great, they look good too, even after a few years of wearing them to work in ....  the dirt and grease washes completly out every time.  they are all i wear now.
