I'm not sure what the legal implications are, but I do know that to run a raffle you need to follow serious guidelines... that's one reason we "give away" items to members and not "raffle" them off.

There was a HUGE discussion about it back a ways when I first wanted to give something back to the TEAM guys, and people ripped my arse apart. I changed it and made it clear it's simply a give-a-way.
