i read somewhere about this little tape measure looking thing that attaches to your scope, it has suggested windage and elevation adjustments for just about any caliber. any body heard of this? if so let me know where i can get one

Do your ballistics table, print it out real small and put 'em inside the scope's eyepiece cover.  Easy to access and you don't have to move to read it.
