Who knew that snot was the worlds most dangerous weapon?

I saw the video of this "stuff" on Fox, and I have to say it looked very effective.  They sprayed it on grass, cement, and pavement and the results looked the same to me regardless of what or who tried to traverse across it.  Zero traction, like wet ice on wet ice.

i wonder is it would be effective against spiked boots. would it be possible for Rioters to use it as a "slide" and just skid across it like either superman or baseball base slide?

Great.  Just great.  Another "Less Than Lethal" alternative for "combat" troops.  Every day, the military (and the Marines, especially) introduce another alternative to actually killing their enemy.  Sound, water, bean bags, and now snot.  What's next, burritos?

I actually thought it wasn't a bad idea, especially in a seige situation.  I mean held up in an Embasy, spray that all around the building will make it hard to be overrun.  True, I think it'd be better served in other areas, such as riots and corrections or an anti theft device.

Like, imagine that stuff and some AP mines at the Alamo. Snot and punji pits. It's deadly beauty requires some imagination!
